The University of Arkansas' Bloodborne Pathogen program is designed to meet the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA's) Bloodborne Pathogen Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1030. If at anytime during the online training you have questions, call EH&S at 575-5448 and a staff member will be happy to assist you.
Online Bloodborne Pathogen training provides a basic understanding of bloodborne pathogens, how they are transmitted, methods of prevention, and other pertinent information. The training concludes with a quiz. To document and record the training, complete the quiz and follow the directions for submission to EH&S. The quiz will be graded and a record of the training will be kept in EH&S. Training must be repeated annually.
