Biological Safety Training is designed to ensure the trainee is aware of and understands the need for protection against some biological agents or substances present in or arising from the work environment. These agents may present a hazard to the health or well-being of the worker and/or the community.

Occupational Safety Training is designed to provide information about and to promote awareness of potential hazards in the work environment as well as provide information regarding faulty or unsafe work practices.

Campus Safety Training covers such topics as ergonomics, fall prevention, forklift safety, personal protective equipment, sound surveys and noise abatement, heat stress prevention, defensive driving, power tool safety, electric safety, air quality, confined space entry, safety audits, and OSHA training.

Chemical & Hazardous Materials Safety Training is designed to ensure that information about these hazards and associated protective measures is provided to workers. This is accomplished through identifying the hazardous materials used, worker training, use of information on container labels and detailed information on material safety data sheets (MSDSs) and the use of appropriate engineering controls and personal protective equipment.

Agricultural Safety Training is designed to provide the agricultural worker with important information regarding their safety and protection in handling pesticides.

Fire Safety Training is designed to ensure that the trainee is cognizant of the continuing need of a campus fire-safe environment. Training covers subjects such as exiting, storage and occupancy loads, kitchen fire safety, special events, and holiday decorations. Additional training can be provided including drills, and hands-on training of fire extinguishers.

Radiation Safety Training is designed to ensure the trainee can make informed and responsible choices in regards to compliance with regulations set forth by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as well as the Arkansas State Department of Health, as they impact the safe use of radioactive materials on campus. We offer several types of training covering subjects as radioactive waste pickups, calibration services, personnel dosimetry to monitor radiation exposure.
