Stormwater Compliance

The University of Arkansas operates a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit in compliance with Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment's Division of Environmental Quality (ADEQ). 

The policies and guidelines developed for contractors working for the University are not only designed to maintain compliance but to provide the best service to the campus while protecting the Northwest Arkansas environment.  Contractors are expected to adhere to the University's Illicit Discharge Policy.  

Stormwater Compliance

Expectations for job site adherence to the University's Stormwater Management Program (SWMP) can be found in the Stormwater Compliance Inspection Checklist During Construction and the Stormwater Compliance Inspection Checklist Post Construction.
